Sydney Business School fosters meaningful research which contributes to advances in business theory and practice and influences the development of our teaching programs.

While individual staff have diverse research interests across the School's major disciplines, a number of specialist areas are emerging as central to our ongoing research program, particularly supply chain management, ethics and governance and the funding and delivery of health services in Australia.

The School provides a supportive and encouraging research environment to ensure students have every opportunity to succeed in their chosen projects. Our academic staff work closely with leading government and industry professionals on research projects. All University of Wollongong research programs comprise at least two thirds supervised research leading to a thesis or equivalent practical work.
